We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Expeditor to join our team. The Expeditor ensures the timely delivery of materials, components, and products to meet production schedules and customer requirements. They work closely with purchasing and suppliers to track orders, resolve delays, and optimize supply chain performance.

   Your Role in Our Mission: 
  • Monitor the status of orders and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers as needed.
  • Contact suppliers for shipment status when orders are past due.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Check that open purchases orders have received acknowledgements.
  • Communicate with production and purchasing departments to identify priorities and bottlenecks.
  • Generate and distribute reports on outstanding orders and expediting activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance delivery and supply chain efficiency.
To Perform your Job Successfully: 
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree. A supply chain degree or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or just-in-time (JIT) principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in expediting, supply chain, logistics, or procurement role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or supply chain management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
