- Use hand and power tools to remove weld splatters and imperfections to create a smooth surface.
- Use tools and equipment in an efficient manner to maximize production.
- Inspect welds for consistency and penetration, reporting problem area to the department responsible for welding the unit.
- Clean and smooth metal surfaces to be free from weld splatter, scratches, and rust.
- 1 year preferred using manual and power tools.
- Good communication.
- Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
- Assist other individuals in areas when needed.
- Check units for hydraulic leaks and report problem areas to Hydraulics Department.
- Operate the equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the Maintenance Department.
- Other duties as assigned.
